Sepele wood, 15.5 x 6 x 7 cm
In these pieces, I utilize texture and color to create connections between natural pigmentations, in contrast to the more neutral tones of the stones, in a constant search for color in sculpture.
Predominantly reddish in tone, the sapwood ranges from whitish to pinkish-gray, while the heartwood is a deep red. It darkens slightly with time and exposure to sunlight.
