PUBLIC ART

Leaving the security of the studio to create in public space has been one of the most challenging and transformative experiences of my career. Exhibiting my work in public spaces democratizes art, bridging the gap between the piece and the viewer. By moving sculpture out of conventional circuits (museums, galleries), it becomes a living entity, vulnerable to the gazes of everyone, from the expert to the casual passerby. This exposure to the elements serves a vital educational function, enriching the visual landscape and fostering, in the long term, a greater aesthetic sensitivity in society.

The large-scale format also allows me to interact directly with the public through touch, creating a multisensory experience. My goal is to improve people’s quality of life by raising awareness about our environment. This interaction and awareness are fundamental pillars of my artistic research.
